About us
FSI is the largest European growth equity fund manager dedicated to a single country – Italy.
The FSI team has been working together since 2012, with a consistent strategy and an approach built around the needs of Italian entrepreneurs: investments in partnership with founding families, no use of leverage, and transformative growth projects. An alternative to the traditional leveraged buy-out model — one that does not burden companies with debt, but puts capital at the service of growth.
Over fifteen years, the team has invested more than €3 billion in 25 Italian companies and completed over 50 acquisitions. During the investment period, portfolio companies have grown on average by over 20% per year in revenue and 25% in EBITDA, increased their international revenue share by 20 percentage points and created 10,000 new jobs.
FSI manages approximately €4 billion, backed by Italian and international institutional investors — including leading sovereign wealth funds — who share a commitment to real growth and support the objective of accompanying companies through to the entry of the best long-term industrial partner.

The approximately 9,000 mid-market companies are the backbone of the Italian economy and present significant value creation opportunities, particularly in FSI’s focus sectors: technology, life sciences and Italy’s sectors of excellence
